Read Johanna Drucker, “Interpreting Visualization, Visualizing Interpretation” in Grapheisis: Visual Forms of Knowledge Production (Cambridge: Harvard UP, 2014), pp. 64-137.

Over the weekend please go to Old Maps Online and find a map of the area that your memoir focuses on from the same time.  Then send the link of that map to Carrie Pirmann (cmp016@bucknell.edu)
